Latest Announcement about Entry Test in Pakistan

Due to pandemic situations, the entry test of many universities in Pakistan had been postponed but now the new dates of entry tests in some universities like SZABIST, ITU, AIR, and GIKI have been announced. The Entry test dates of these universities, their test pattern, and fee structure are as follows:

Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST)

SZABIST is approved and recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. It is ranked as one of the best Business schools in Pakistan by HEC. Its branches are in Dubai, Islamabad, Karachi, Larkana, and Hyderabad. SZABIST offers twenty-one programs including international programs such as LLB by the University of London and BA Hons in Business Studies in cooperation with Coventry University, UK.

In SZABIST (Islamabad Campus), the last date of registration is 24th July 2021, and the entry test will be held online between 26th July ad 2nd August. Entry Test will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The entry test will contain 30 MCQs from English, 20 MCQS from General Math, 10 MCQs from IQ, and 30 MCQs from your respective subject. Information Technology University (ITU)

 ITU came into being in 2012, and it is located in the heart of Pakistan (Lahore). ITU offers many technology-related programs.

In ITU, the last date of registration is 25th June 2021. You have to give either Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or ITU admission test to take admission. ITU Admission test will be held from 9th July and 12th July, and the deadline to receive SAT score is 14th July.. For undergraduates, the entry test will contain 20 MCQs from English, 30 MCQS from Analytical Reasoning, 40 MCQs from Mathematics, and 10 MCQs from Physics. For MS/Ph.D., entry test will contain 15 MCQs from English, 20 MCQS from Analytical Reasoning, 10 MCQs from Mathematics, and 55 MCQs from Computer Science Core areas i.e., Basic Programming & OOP, Data Structures, Databases, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, and Theory of Automata.

For the undergraduate degree program, the tuition fee per credit hour is Rs. 5500, and the total credit hours are 130-140, while for a graduate degree program, the tuition fee per credit hour is Rs. 6500, and a total credit hours are 31.

 

 

AIR University

Air University have three campuses that are located in Islamabad, Multan, and Attock. The last date of registration for entry test is 10th July 2021. The Test dates are from 15th June and onwards. The entry test pattern vary from program to program, you can see entry test weightage here. For undergraduates, the tuition fee  per credit hour is almost Rs. 4510 and the total credit hours are about 130 credit hours, while for graduate programs, the tuition fee is almost Rs. 5963  and credit hours vary for every degree program.

 

 

Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI)

GIKI is located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is ranked 30th in Pakistan. Starting date to apply in GIKI is 6th June, and the last date to apply is 4th July. GIKI also accepts SAT-II scores for the degree of Physics and Maths. The last date to submit the SAT-II score is 28th July. This time entry test will be held online between 26th July and 1st August. The entry test will contain 20 MCQs from English, 30 MCQs from Physics, and 30 MCQs from Mathematics. Its tuition fee is Rs. 367500 for the first year of graduation.
