PIA reports sighting of UFO

Captain Faisal Qureshi and Captain Talha, pilots of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) saw a shiny thing in the clouds during a flight from Lahore to Karachi on 23rd January 2021. They saw it near Rahim Yar Khan. They captured a video of that strange shiny thing and also shared that video. The video was made from a window of a cabin in an airplane. They said that it was surrounded by a metal ring, and the white bright light was released from its center. They claimed that the strange shiny thing is an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) because it was not a weather balloon. The weather balloon does not shine and release light from its center. UFO is an aerial phenomenon that is not easily explained or identified. It is also called the flying saucer. 

After World War 2, researchers’ thoughts that some extraterrestrial life/ aliens visited Earth. In 1947, the first time a businessman Kenneth Arnold saw the UFO in Washington when he was flying his small plane. He claimed that he saw nine UFOs. They were in the shape of the saucer, and their speed was numerous thousand miles per hour. In the newspaper, they mistakenly stated ‘a saucer-shaped’ object that is why UFO is also known as a flying saucer. After that many UFOs were seen from time to time, and it became the main matter of interest in the development of rocketry. In 1948, the US Air Force investigated the report called Project Sign. Some scientists thought that it was just a modern soviet jet, but some scientists claimed that it was a UFO that came from the other World to visit our world. After a year, the project Sign converted into the Project Grudge, and after more than 12000 sightings of these UFOs, the scientist reported it as Blue Book. In 1952, bright Radars and visual lights saw near the National Airport in Washington. Pictures were captured and reviewed by the scientists. US Government set up a panel to investigate it, and many other panels were established after it. UFO sighting was also held in Canada, Sweden, United Kingdom (UK), Greece, Australia, Colorado, and Denmark. 

Punjab University space scientist claimed that the strange shiny thing that is sawed by those pilots is not UFO. Many other pilots also saw that strange thing and said that It is just a lenticular clouds/ lens cloud. Lenticular clouds or lens cloud are the stationary clouds, and it exists in the lower level of Earth’s atmosphere that is usually in the opposite side of the wind. They look saucer-shaped or lens-like. These clouds do not move even in the robust winds. When the wind blows, then wind passes over these clouds as the water passes over the stone on the land. They reported about it at an altitude of 1000 feet. That thing was flying at an altitude of 35000 feet but the UFO usually flies at an altitude of 37000 feet. The Scientist also told that when we capture a picture at the speed of 500 to 900 km per hour, then its shape extends, and it becomes unable for us to see a clear image.
